November 2019
The first two shots have an unintentional experimental feel to them. The colours of the reddish leaf and the Robin's breast are similar.

I caught this Wigeon just as it landed in a pond.

Over at Point Roberts I captured a shot of a Harlequin Duck with something going down its gullet.

The next day I was back at the Point and saw a large flock of Sanderling. I think the duck ducked just in time.

They landed shortly after.

The last two shots for November are from Point Roberts.
I'm not sure if the Gull won this battle, it flew off just after I took this.

And finally a familiar bird that doesn't appear in blogs very often.

December 2019
No photos from the usual locations this month. I made a trip out to Chilliwack to pick up some golf passes and stopped at the nearby Great Blue Heron Reserve. There weren't a lot of birds, but I like this Finch shot.

On Christmas Day I had an unexpected present, a Brown Creeper at eye level on our front yard Douglas Fir tree.

Just after Christmas, a huge Anchovy die off occurred in White Rock near the Pier. Here's a few highlights from there. The full post is probably just below this one.
There were huge numbers of Gulls at the feeding frenzy.

I was pleased to see some Red-throated Loons here, this was my best shot.
